Aries Solutions is proud to announce the launch of Aries Labs, a new open-source initiative designed to accelerate MACH implementations with enterprise-grade microservices and extensions. These open-source projects address common requirements of composable implementations, significantly accelerating project velocity.
The launch of Aries Labs includes two initial projects. The first includes a fully containerized microservice for inventory that can be deployed to any public cloud in a Kubernetes environment and a custom commercetools merchant center extension for the business to manage its data through a user-friendly interface. These offerings from Aries Labs work seamlessly with commercetools Composable Commerce, the leading headless commerce solution on the market.
Aries decided to open-source these components to collaborate with the composable commerce community and help other organizations adopt headless commerce. Unlike many accelerators, these open-source projects are not restrictive pre-built bundles, but micro-accelerators to help implementations go faster.
Speaking on the announcement, James Luterek, VP of Engineering at Aries, says, “The market share of legacy commerce platforms is shrinking as more organizations realize the benefits of composable and headless architectures. This initiative will help companies with that transition and provide confidence in launching an implementation on time. “
